250 pounds of maniacal fury!
Criminally Insane (1975) follows a released mental patient with an insatiable hunger who, once back in her grandmother’s house, responds to restrictions on her food intake with escalating violence against anyone who interferes. As her compulsive eating and murderous impulses intensify within the cramped domestic setting, tension grows from the grotesque blend of gluttony and bloodshed. This low-budget American horror thriller blends exploitation grotesquerie with cult-film absurdity in a startling, visceral riff on appetite and madness.
