Film Synopsis
Better Off Dead... (1985) centers on a high school student devastated when his girlfriend leaves him for the arrogant captain of the ski team. Determined to prove himself and win her back, he takes on a formidable ski challenge while contending with his eccentric family, strange neighborhood encounters, and a French exchange student who unexpectedly enters his life. This teen comedy filters adolescent heartbreak through surreal sight gags and darkly absurd detours, turning an ordinary breakup into an unpredictable portrait of teenage frustration and resilience.
