Film Synopsis
23 Paces to Baker Street (1956) follows blind playwright Philip Hannon, who overhears a suspicious conversation in a pub and becomes convinced he has stumbled onto a kidnapping plot. As he pieces together clues with the help of his assistant and former fiancée, his limited sight heightens both the danger and the urgency of the investigation. This polished mystery thriller blends atmospheric London settings, tight plotting, and mounting paranoia in a taut tale of deduction and peril.
