The greatest gunfighter of them all!
Film Synopsis
The Lawless Breed (1952) centers on John Wesley Hardin as he recounts his life following his release from prison after years behind bars. As a fatal confrontation forces him to flee the law while family tragedy, relentless pursuers, and the demands of life as a fugitive shape his transformation into one of the West’s most feared gunmen, he struggles to balance his love for his family with the consequences of his violent reputation. This Western examines justice, loyalty, and redemption through a romanticized account of a notorious outlaw’s life, as frontier violence, personal loss, and moral conflict define his search for a second chance.
