The Flame (1947) tells the story of two brothers torn apart by greed when one schemes to marry a wealthy woman for her fortune. His plan grows darker as betrayal, blackmail, and violence spiral out of control. The tale unfolds as a moody crime melodrama steeped in jealousy and moral corruption.
