Poster of Night of the Seagulls

Their pagan god has given his command: 7 nights, 7 victims, 7 human hearts!

  • Sadly, the series ends up at a bit of a low point. A lot of the sex and violence is toned down in order to make the film more of a folk tale than an actual horror film. The attention to atmosphere is admirable with the seashore making an attractive setting for the Templars’ slow-motion romps (aided by the seagulls who announce the Templars’ arrival, hence the name of the film), but the high-mindedness of the film takes away from the exploitation factor. No lesbian gropings here, and the violence is played down.
