Their pagan god has given his command: 7 nights, 7 victims, 7 human hearts!
A young doctor and his wife arrive in a remote coastal village, only to discover the locals live in fear of nightly rituals involving the sacrifice of young women. These offerings are meant to appease the undead Knights Templar, who rise from the sea each night to claim their victims. As the doctor uncovers the horrifying truth, he must confront the ancient evil to break the cycle of terror.

Sadly, the series ends up at a bit of a low point. A lot of the sex and violence is toned down in order to make the film more of a folk tale than an actual horror film. The attention to atmosphere is admirable with the seashore making an attractive setting for the Templars’ slow-motion romps (aided by the seagulls who announce the Templars’ arrival, hence the name of the film), but the high-mindedness of the film takes away from the exploitation factor. No lesbian gropings here, and the violence is played down.
