Film Synopsis
Monkey Business (1952) focuses on a research chemist attempting to develop a formula that reverses the effects of ageing. A laboratory chimpanzee unexpectedly produces the missing mixture and pours it into a water cooler, causing the scientist and his wife to undergo increasingly disruptive changes in behaviour. This screwball comedy lets a scientific mishap strip away adult restraint, pushing marriage and professional decorum into increasingly childish disorder.
