After a beloved priest is murdered in a small Connecticut town, police quickly arrest a drifter under intense public pressure to solve the case. But as the trial approaches, the district attorney begins to doubt the suspect’s guilt and risks his career to pursue the truth. Based on a real case, the film explores themes of justice, political ambition, and moral courage.
