Film Synopsis
Virus (1999) portrays the crew of a storm-damaged tugboat boarding an apparently deserted Russian research vessel in hopes of claiming it as salvage. As the ship’s systems come back to life, they discover an alien intelligence assembling lethal creatures from machinery and human remains. This science-fiction horror combines maritime isolation, grotesque biomechanical imagery, and survival action with fears of technology consuming the human body.
