Film Synopsis
Unknown World (1951) follows a scientific team who descends into the Earth in an experimental drilling craft in hopes of finding a subterranean refuge from looming global catastrophe. As they push deeper into the desolate underworld, the harsh environment and dwindling optimism strain their resolve and expose the limits of their idealism.
