Film Synopsis
Treasure Island (1950) concerns young Jim Hawkins, who acquires a map revealing the location of Captain Flint’s buried treasure. Aboard the Hispaniola, he becomes close to the charismatic Long John Silver before discovering that pirates among the crew intend to seize the fortune. This British-American swashbuckling adventure combines seafaring action, colourful period settings, and a coming-of-age story shaped by courage and divided loyalties.
