Synopsis
Tiger’s Claw (1951) centers on an aging lion trainer who falls in love with a gifted young tiger trainer at the circus. As their relationship deepens while her beloved Bengal tiger unexpectedly kills her on the day of their wedding, overwhelming grief drives him to seek revenge against the animal before an unexpected act of submission forces him to confront his anger. This West German thriller examines love, loss, and the bond between humans and animals within the dangerous world of the circus, as vengeance and compassion collide amid spectacular animal performances and melodrama.
