Synopsis
The Video Dead (1987) follows a quiet household that accepts delivery of an unsolicited TV set capable of picking up only a bizarre, endless horror film featuring the undead. As zombies emerge from the screen and begin attacking residents and neighbors, teenagers and a paranormal investigator work together to understand the supernatural threat. This horror film blends low-budget creature effects, undead terror, and cult video-era suspense rooted in 1980s direct-to-video horror.
