Film Synopsis
The Stepford Wives (1975) follows a photographer who relocates from New York City to an idyllic suburban community with her husband and children. As she befriends another newcomer and observes the strangely docile behavior of the local women, growing suspicions lead her to investigate the town’s unsettling secret. This science fiction horror thriller blends suburban satire, psychological paranoia, and themes of gender roles and conformity.
