The Seven Revenges (1961) follows Circassian warrior Ivan and his rival Amok from the Kyrgyz tribe as they compete in a set of seven challenges ordered by the Great Khan that will decide who becomes the new leader. After Amok wins through betrayal and leaves Ivan badly wounded and disfigured, Ivan recovers with the help of Tamara and vows revenge while tribal tensions escalate. As Ivan returns to confront Amok with allies including his brother Kir and Suani, the daughter of the late Khan, fate and vengeance collide in a climactic showdown.
