The Love Garden (1971) follows a freelance journalist named Mike who falls in love with Claire, a woman in his apartment building. As he learns that Claire is a lesbian already involved with her girlfriend Inez, he tries to “convert” her by hiring her as his secretary, hoping that proximity and charm will change her feelings. This romantic drama blends 1970s erotic tension and idealistic longing in a bittersweet exploration of love, identity, and desire.
