Synopsis

The Long Good Friday (1980) follows a rising gangster who seeks to transform his criminal operations into a legitimate business venture with international backing. As bombings and targeted killings strike his organization, he struggles to identify the source of the threat while maintaining control over his associates and negotiations. This British crime thriller blends gritty realism and political tension in an exploration of power, control, and the fragility of criminal authority.
