Synopsis
The Klansman (1974) centers on a Mississippi community divided by deep racial hostility and mistrust. As the assault of a white woman ignites demands for revenge while local authorities, community leaders, and members of the Ku Klux Klan pursue conflicting responses to the crime, tensions escalate toward a violent confrontation that threatens to engulf the entire town.
