Film Synopsis
The Indian Scarf (1963) concerns an executor overseeing a wealthy lord’s will, which requires the prospective heirs to spend six days and nights together at his Scottish estate. A storm isolates the household, and a succession of stranglings forces the lawyer to search for a killer among those gathered. This murder mystery combines black-and-white Gothic imagery with comic interruptions, using the enclosed setting to intensify suspicion among feuding relatives.
