A world-famous pianist loses his hands in a tragic accident and receives a transplant from a recently executed murderer. Haunted by the fear that the new hands carry the killer’s violent impulses, he spirals into paranoia and madness. As his grip on reality weakens, those around him become endangered by the dark legacy he fears he now embodies.
