The Girl Most Likely, a musical remake of Tom, Dick and Harry (1941) was the last RKO picture started and finished at the Gower Street studio. Though hardly a classic, it represented one of the better efforts of the RKO Teleradio regime. … If anything, the story was even more sappy by 1958 standards than those of 1941, but the picture did contain several flashy musical numbers, staged by Gower Champion, that transcended the plot and gave it extra pizzazz.
