A young man from a wealthy rural family murders the family’s mute maid to cover up his attempted sexual assault, with his parents helping conceal the crime. As guilt and dread fester within the isolated household, the facade of normalcy begins to crack. The oppressive atmosphere gives way to psychological torment, exposing the moral decay beneath their privileged exterior.
