At twice the speed of sound, can the Concorde evade attack?
Synopsis
The Concorde… Airport ’79 (1979) follows an ambitious aviation venture threatened by sabotage, corporate corruption, and an airborne assassination plot. As a supersonic flight becomes the stage for political intrigue and mechanical danger, time and altitude magnify every miscalculation. This glossy disaster thriller blends high-tech spectacle and conspiracy plotting in a slick exercise in late-cycle franchise excess and jet-age anxiety.
