Film Synopsis
The Castle of Fu Manchu (1969) follows the cunning Fu Manchu as he returns with a new plan to freeze the world’s oceans using a stolen scientific device, threatening global devastation. As he builds his fortress in a remote castle, his longtime adversary Nayland Smith races against time to stop him. This final chapter from Jesús Franco in the cult series blends pulp adventure, exotic espionage, and over-the-top villainy in a battle to save humanity from icy destruction.

- Blue Underground’s “Double Feature” Blu-ray also includes The Blood of Fu Manchu (1968).
- Indicator’s Blu-ray is included in “The Fu Manchu Cycle 1965-1969” box set with The Face of Fu Manchu (1965), The Brides of Fu Manchu (1966), The Vengeance of Fu Manchu (1967) and The Blood of Fu Manchu (1968). It contains a 120-page booklet with writing by Tim Lucas (“The World Shall Hear from Me Again!: The Fu Manchu Films of the 1960s”) and Jeff Billington (“Towers of Liechtenstein: The Colourful Career of Harry Alan Towers”); a double-sided poster; and 5 replica production stills. Reissued individually without booklet (2022-05-23).
