Film Synopsis
During World War II, British POWs are forced by their Japanese captors to build a strategic railway bridge in the Burmese jungle. Determined to maintain discipline and morale, the British commander collaborates with the enemy, unaware that Allied forces are planning to destroy the bridge. As conflicting loyalties and ideals clash, the line between duty and betrayal becomes fatally blurred.
