Film Synopsis
Terminal Island (1973) follows a newly sentenced inmate who is exiled to a remote island prison where murderers are left to survive without guards, laws, or oversight. As she and other prisoners endure brutal exploitation and a tyrannical inmate hierarchy, tensions erupt — and an uneasy alliance of men and women coalesces to spark an uprising against tyranny and social collapse. This exploitation‑thriller blends raw violence, social breakdown, and claustrophobic isolation in a gritty study of power, desperation, and resistance.
