Synopsis
Sweeney 2 (1978) follows Flying Squad detectives Inspector Jack Regan and Sergeant George Carter as they investigate a spate of violent bank robberies linked to a ruthless gang that strikes in London and flees to Malta between jobs. As the pursuit escalates through streets and across borders, corruption, dead ends, and shattered loyalties test their grit and resolve to bring the criminals to justice. This action crime drama blends hard-edged police procedural energy and gritty 1970s realism in a tough chapter of the Sweeney saga.
