Film Synopsis
Stoner (1974) centers on an Australian detective investigating a deadly new drug whose trail leads him from Sydney to Hong Kong. There he crosses paths with a female investigator pursuing the same criminal organization, eventually drawing them both into a confrontation with the syndicate behind the operation. This Hong Kong action film combines martial arts, drug trafficking, crime-thriller intrigue, and sexploitation with the flamboyant style of 1970s Golden Harvest cinema.
