Film Synopsis
Still of the Night (1982) follows a New York City psychiatrist whose life spirals into suspense when one of his long-time patients is murdered and he becomes drawn to the victim’s enigmatic mistress, a woman authorities suspect of the crime. As he balances professional ethics with growing romantic attraction, he begins his own investigation and slowly uncovers hidden motives and perilous secrets that put his own life at risk. This psychological thriller blends classic noir tension and obsessive intrigue in a brooding study of love, suspicion, and deadly ambiguity.
