Slaughterhouse Rock

Poster of Slaughterhouse Rock

Alcatraz. For 39 years it held society’s most depraved killers. Now it’s home to something even worse…

Slaughterhouse Rock (1988) follows Alex Gardner, a college student plagued by vivid nightmares in which he relives the deaths of a killer from Alcatraz before it became a prison. When he and his friends travel to the island to confront the supernatural source of his visions, they uncover possession, ghostly influence, and escalating horror that threatens their lives. This supernatural horror blends 1980s slasher elements, occult mystery, and campy genre tropes.
