Film Synopsis
A devout ascetic lives atop a pillar in the desert, seeking spiritual purity and detachment from the world. Despite his isolation, he becomes a reluctant spectacle and is continually tempted by Satan in various forms. His journey takes an unexpected turn that questions the boundaries between sanctity and absurdity.

Edition and Packaging Notes
- Radiance’s Blu-ray is included in the “Nothing Is Sacred: Three Heresies by Luis Buñuel” box set with Viridiana (1961) and The Exterminating Angel (1962). It includes an 80-page booklet with writing by Glenn Kenny, Justine Smith, Lindsay Hallam and David Hering.
