An epic so vast it took two years to create and a whole continent to contain.
Shout at the Devil (1976) follows an Irish-American adventurer and a British aristocrat who, drawn together by poaching, romance, and wartime conflict in East Africa, find themselves resisting occupying German forces and embarking on a daring mission to destroy a battleship hiding off the coast. As personal loss and political upheaval escalate before the outbreak of full war, the pair’s camaraderie and resolve are tested amid jungle raids and naval sabotage. This action-adventure blends colonial peril and pre-World War I tension in a sprawling tale of revenge and battle.
