Some windows should never be opened.

Secret Window (2004) follows a once-successful writer who, reeling from a painful separation from his wife, isolates himself at a lakeside cabin to rebuild his life and overcome writer’s block. His solitude is shattered when a stranger arrives and accuses him of stealing a story, pushing him into a desperate quest to prove his innocence while strange events and escalating violence unfold around him. As he uncovers evidence and hires a private investigator, he is forced to confront deep psychological wounds and the reality of his own fractured mind in a chilling study of guilt and madness.
