Film Synopsis
Sands of the Kalahari (1965) centers on a group of passengers forced into the harsh Kalahari Desert after their small aircraft crashes during a storm over southern Africa. As food shortages, territorial conflict, and mounting psychological strain intensify within the isolated group while aggressive baboons begin surrounding their rocky refuge, social order steadily collapses under the pressure of survival and fear. This British adventure survival thriller examines the fragility of civilization within an unforgiving natural environment, as isolation deepens, with primal violence, social breakdown, and human desperation.
