Brothers with guns who… “Saddle the Wind”
Synopsis
Saddle the Wind (1958) centers on a former gunfighter attempting to live quietly as a rancher while maintaining stability within a small Western community. As his reckless younger brother embraces fast-draw violence and escalating confrontations with local landowners and rival gunmen while disputes over open grazing land intensify throughout the region, the older brother is gradually forced back toward the violent past he hoped to leave behind. This western drama examines masculinity and the destructive allure of violence within a changing frontier society, as tensions intensify, with fraternal conflict, gunfighter mythology, and moral restraint.
