Film Synopsis
Red Dawn (1984) centers on a group of high school students who flee into the mountains after a Soviet-led invasion overruns their Colorado hometown during the opening stages of World War III. As they organize a guerrilla resistance against the occupying forces, dwindling resources, mounting casualties, and relentless military pressure test their determination to survive and continue the fight. This action war drama explores courage, sacrifice, and patriotism through a fictional Cold War invasion scenario, blending survival, combat, and coming-of-age storytelling.
