Film Synopsis
Raid on Rommel (1971) centres on a British intelligence officer who infiltrates a German prisoner convoy in Libya in 1942 to organize an attack on Tobruk’s harbour guns. With most of the commandos he expects unavailable, he must recruit medical personnel and other prisoners despite their medical officer’s objections. This wartime action-adventure builds suspense through impersonation and encounters at German positions before expanding into desert combat and large-scale destruction.
