Synopsis
Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) follows a young estate agent who travels to Transylvania to finalize a property sale with a reclusive nobleman. As the nobleman reveals himself as a vampire and relocates to the agent’s town of Wismar, disease and death begin to spread among the townspeople while those close to the agent attempt to respond. This gothic horror film develops mounting pressure and growing unease, with contagion, desire, and mortality shaping events.
