Film Synopsis

Nine to Five (1980) centers on three office workers frustrated by the sexist and demeaning treatment of their domineering boss. After a series of mishaps leads them to hold him captive, they take charge of their department and introduce reforms that improve working conditions. This workplace comedy combines farce, social satire, and female solidarity in a humorous critique of inequality and discrimination in corporate culture.
