Film Synopsis
Mutiny on the Bounty (1935) chronicles the officers and crew of HMS Bounty as they sail to Tahiti under a captain whose brutal discipline creates mounting resentment aboard ship. As his treatment of the men brings him into growing conflict with his first officer, a young midshipman finds his own loyalties tested by the struggle between command and resistance. This historical adventure drama turns a South Seas expedition into a forceful conflict over tyranny and conscience, examining what duty means when obedience comes at the expense of justice.
