“I’m so proud of my boys – they never forget their mama.”
Film Synopsis
Mother’s Day (1980) reunites three former college roommates for an annual trip that takes them camping in the remote New Jersey woods. After two brothers abduct them and carry them to an isolated house, the friends face a brutal captivity ordeal presided over by the men’s approving mother. This backwoods exploitation horror merges slasher violence with abrasive black comedy that satirizes media-fed consumer culture.
