Medousa (1998) centers on a young Athenian thief whose unusual childhood takes on new significance when men begin appearing mysteriously transformed into stone. When he and his companions target the home of an enigmatic woman, their discovery draws him closer to the strange events unfolding around them. This Greek fantasy horror film relocates the myth of Medusa and Perseus to contemporary Athens, merging crime and supernatural mystery in a modern reworking of fate, memory, and ancient legend
