Synopsis
March or Die (1977) centers on a French Foreign Legion major struggling to rebuild his unit after the devastation of the First World War. As he escorts an archaeological mission searching for a valuable desert treasure while hostile tribes seek to prevent outsiders from disturbing a sacred site, personal rivalries and conflicting loyalties complicate an increasingly dangerous assignment. This adventure drama examines duty and sacrifice within a harsh colonial frontier, as military discipline and personal ambition collide amid war, archaeology, and survival.
