The power-mad monarch of the murder mobs!
Synopsis
Little Caesar (1931) follows an ambitious small-time hoodlum who rises swiftly through the ranks of organized crime in pursuit of power and notoriety. As ruthless ambition fuels his ascent and alienates allies, the criminal underworld closes in on his increasingly precarious empire. This early gangster classic blends hard-edged violence and moral fatalism in a stark portrait of hubris and inevitable downfall.
