Synopsis

Laserblast (1978) follows a lonely Southern California teenager who stumbles upon an alien laser cannon and pendant in the desert that grant him deadly firepower but begin to warp his body and mind. As he lashes out at bullies, authority figures, and random targets, his descent into violence draws the attention of local law enforcement, government agents, and the very extraterrestrials who lost the weapon. This science-fiction horror blends doomsday fantasy and escalating madness in a grim study of power and isolation.
