Killer Party

aka The April Fool; Fool’s Night

Poster for Killer Party

Critical Perspective

  • This toothless mid eighties slasher takes its cues from The Exorcist and traditional ‘vengeful ghost’ stories. Like many slashers from this period, for the first half it seems more interested in being a campus comedy in the Animal House vein rather than a horror movie. … It steals liberally from Terror Train and several earlier campus slashers, but does try to inject some new life into the material and avoids using several of the more clichéd ideas.
