The furious, fighting story of Quantrill’s guerrillas!
Synopsis
Kansas Raiders (1950) centers on Jesse James and a group of young Missourians who enlist with William Quantrill’s Confederate raiders during the American Civil War. As Jesse witnesses the increasing brutality of Quantrill’s campaign while atrocities committed against civilians force him to question the cause he has embraced, his growing disillusionment places him at odds with the ruthless leader he once admired. This Western examines loyalty and moral conviction within the chaos of war, as friendship, violence, and personal conscience shape the origins of a legendary outlaw.
