The newest, most frantic fad! A jazzed-up, mixed-up musical that’s got “trad”, dad!
Synopsis
It’s Trad, Dad! (1962) follows two teenagers who try to save their town’s banned trad-jazz scene by rallying local musicians and fans. As resistance from stern officials grows, the pair turn to a televised showcase that transforms their grassroots rebellion into a lively musical celebration. This pop-youth musical blends upbeat comedy and performance-driven spectacle into a bright snapshot of early-’60s music culture.
