Synopsis
High Road to China (1983) centers on a hard-drinking pilot hired by a determined young woman to locate her father before he can be declared legally dead and his fortune lost. As their search carries them across remote regions of Asia during the years before the First World War while rival interests, political unrest, and the hazards of early aviation threaten the expedition, an unlikely partnership develops between the two adventurers.
