Film Synopsis
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987) follows a high-school student who inadvertently releases the spirit of a prom queen killed during the school’s 1957 dance. After the spirit possesses her, preparations for the current prom become part of a campaign of revenge connected to the earlier tragedy. This Canadian supernatural slasher uses ghostly revenge and adolescent identity to transform prom-night rituals into surreal horror and dark humour.
